FSGF helps a local family in Gilbert build a temporary ramp for their father who was injured in a fall that left him paralyzed. After a year in the hospital and rehabilitation center, he was finally ready to come home, but there was no way to get the wheelchair into the house. FSGF was introduced to this family at one of our other charity events. FSGF Founder Peter Ezugwu heard the family’s story went into action. He called on some friends and local contractors who worked for Stone Creek Construction. These generous people gave their time (and donated supplies) early one Saturday morning to build the ramp. If FSGF hadn’t stepped in, the family would have had to wait at least a month longer (until the insurance money came in) to bring their father home.
